Stock Market Education this September

The Stock Market Simplified
This event organized by the UST College of Commerce Alumni and Young Alumni Achievers Council could be a good introduction for those of you who are just starting to get interested in trading the stock market. Its covers the basics of stock market investing, personal investment strategy, and introduction to technical analysis (which is a way of studying the market and helps you decide when to buy/sell).

I will really appreciate all the advice I can get. I'm interested in Mentor Capital (MNTR). They have a 20% interest in a biotech company that has clinical trials planned for a new breast cancer treatment. The stock's value could appreciate once this treatment goes on the market, which is what peaked my interest.
There're plenty of free seminars and it's becoming increasingly difficult to choose the right ones. At least they're free.
